Well, while grounded on some fronts, I definitely delve into the spiritual. First, I’d ask if your mother had any connections to birds and if so, what they may have represented to her. And since you were involved directly in this, I’d ask the same of you.

Birds, and black birds are symbols for all kinds of cultures, and especially the Native Americans.

As for messengers, ask yourself if your mom was the type to try to pass on messages after her crossing. I think it’s one of those individual things and if the dead birds made you think of her or drew your attention to something in particular, then that’s where it was intended to lead you.

A lot more philosophic than the usual crypto thing, but like I said, I like to tread down those paths as well as the logical and quantitative pursuits for cryptids.

I would chalk this one up to something called the law of attraction.

If you focus on something long enough, it will keep showing up.

Having a black bird smash into a window after a tragic moment in one’s life is enough to send some people questioning whether that was an omen. Which would lead to one staying focused on the idea of a dead bird, at least in the back of their minds. Which brings about the result of them running into more dead birds.
