I’m with tropicalwolf. The first and the third were the bestestestest…but that fourth one stunk. Period. I doubt I’ll go to the next one unless I’m able to realllllly learn alot about it before hand and get an idea that it does harken back to the first…and Harrison…he’s gettin’ old, but Shia is no Harrison…

How about “Indiana Jones And The Frame Of Zimmer” as the title, with our hero battling a horde of zombie geriatrics (formenting their plans in the Bermuda Triangle, having been previously cast out from southern Florida) intent on taking back the world from the evil Generation-Y’ers?

That last craptacular film soured me on the franchise. They should have taken the “James Bond Route” and began casting different actors to extend the franchise and keep it fresh. Shia is NOT the new Indiana Jones. He may be able to pull off summer “eye candy” like Transformers (which is still a stretch), but he will never have the clout or moxy to walk in Mr Ford’s shoes.

“Raiders of the Lost Ark” is very near and dear to me… to say it was an inspiration would be an understatement. I really hope these guys can redeem themselves with Indy 5.

Hopefully, they will return to the older style Indiana Jones movies. For me at least, that last one lacked all believability. Surviving an atomic blast by hiding out in an old refridgerator? Really? I lost interest from that point in!
