This is terrific fun. I watched Harryhausen's 20 Million Miles to Earth last night and thought there was the same sense of fun.

(There is a good documentary accompanying the current DVD, BTW, which tells us things I did not know: for example, Ray used only one size creature puppet, a very small one, and it had a blood pressure cuff in its chest to make it "breathe." Also that he wanted an elephant 15 feet tall for live shots: when no one could produce such a mammoth (pun intended) beast, he used an ordinary Indian elephant filmed next to a keeper played by a four-foot-tall actor.)

Good work, guys!
