Posted by: Craig Woolheater on August 7th, 2013

CTV British Columbia showed the videos to John Bindernagel, a wildlife biologist who has spent decades researching Bigfoot, writing two books and talking to those who say they’ve seen the creature.

He says it’s difficult to determine in the videos what’s going on, because there isn’t much scale or perspective in the short clips.

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on December 16th, 2010

Bindernagel says bigfoot sightings are more common than people realize but are often immediately discounted. He also predicts there are several people who have seen the creature but are afraid to talk about their encounters because they may have had bad experiences when recounting those sightings to friends or spouses.

Bindernagel’s New Bigfoot Book

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on October 11th, 2010

In The Discovery of the Sasquatch, biologist John Bindernagel reconsiders much of the prevailing knowledge regarding the sasquatch. Illustrating evidence which contradicts the widely held perception of the sasquatch as merely a cultural phenomenon—a myth, hallucination, imaginary being, misidentified bear, or hoax—he explains why criteria such as testability, consistency, predictive power, and simplicity actually support an alternative hypothesis: the sasquatch as an extant mammal.

Meldrum Sees a Squatch?

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on January 10th, 2014

Meldrum is more circumspect about the matter, as the skeptical scientist that he is. If asked, he simply says, “Well, let’s put it this way. I saw something.” The sighting occurred at the Alberta Habitation Site in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains east of Jasper National Park. This is one of the hottest sites in North America.

Dr. Matthew Johnson: The Guttenberg Press, Wittenberg Door, and Facebook

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on June 3rd, 2013

Until recently, Bigfootdom has been controlled by the “Good Ol’ Boys” network. In the past, they controlled the popular Bigfoot Forums, Conferences, Back Room Politics, etc. Then that silly Facebook thing came along in 2004 and revolutionized the world, including Bigfootdom.

All Bigfooters were finally freed up to network with other Bigfooters who shared similar theories, methodologies, and experiences. Reports of unusual Bigfoot encounters were no longer allowed to be swept under the carpet or deep-sixed into the garbage can because the witnesses reported experiences did not fit into the closed-minded, small, rigid box of the “Gigantopithecus Theory.” They could no longer threaten to burn Galileo at the stake.
