High School Principal Chasing Bigfoot

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on July 28th, 2007

David Raygoza has heard it all: The sniggers, the jokes, the “crackpot” comments.

It doesn’t much faze the high school principal from Fresno as he pursues the passion that has consumed much of his free time for years: Tracking Bigfoot, a purportedly ape-like creature reputed to live in the remote mountains east of Kings County.

Where is Bigfoot now? The cycle…

Posted by: Rick Noll on May 3rd, 2007

Does it seem that there hasn’t been any good Bigfoot track ways found lately? Have we gotten so good at looking at this type of evidence that the preponderance of new finds have people not wanting to come forward with their pictures, tracks or casts of them? We now can look at these tracks and casts and tell with reasonable certainty if they were or were not of human manufacture?

Bigfoot in Twisp… Part IV

Posted by: Rick Noll on February 7th, 2006

Betty thought it might have been a side tracked Polar Bear (there were no claw marks evident in any of the tracks by the way)… Cliff thought it was an oversized Indian from BC. (the original image of Sasquatch was that of an oversized, loin clothed Indian).

Bigfoot in Twisp…Chick-Boom(Part I)

Posted by: Rick Noll on January 20th, 2006

NOTE: There isn’t a school that teaches the art and science of investigating monster ape-man encounters. Everything I learned has come from some pretty hard knocks along the way. I have had to borrow money and equipment, associate myself with other groups and even sell possessions to get the needed funds. Just a warning that you won’t find a curriculum at your local school and that you should be prepared to hear about some pretty dumb things we did in our earlier days.

Bigfoot Encounters… to rate or classify?

Posted by: Rick Noll on January 17th, 2006

Is there a difference between classifying a Bigfoot observation (what could be termed normalizing the data) and that of rating it? Rating implies an importance one would give to an observation through some arbitrary and subjective means. Classifying describes the observation to aide in statistically studying a group of such observations.
