These shows are made to be entertainment, not scientific studies. Just pop the corn, pop the top, sit back, and enjoy the spectacle. Same goes for the Bigfoot show running right now. None of it is serious.

Dont expect to say anything that will be a sea monster. It be unidentifiable at best just all the other so called water monster footage.

I’m with Redrose999 on this.

It will be heavy on entertainment and light on science BUT if nothing else it should bring a whole new set of fresh eyes to the Caddie scene. True some will be there to point and smirk, but it may well be this show that alerts someone to report what they have seen. Might bring some much needed research money to the cause as well.

As for the explosions, the Hillstand Bros are a bit outrageous but in a good way. And as we’ve learned when it comes to TV everything seems to be done in extremes. So why use sonar when you can use m-80 instead? (hopefully not THAT extreme but you get the idea)

Let’s not panic just yet and give the show a chance, especially if the ‘monster’ angle was a last minute spin to deal with a lawsuit as Redrose has stated.

I wouldn’t worry too much. I suspect most of the guns, and explosions were done when they initially were filming the show as Hillstranded. Keep in mind before the lawsuit, it was a different show, about Alaska, not cryptids.

But I think, you’ll get some nice footage and interesting approaches to Caddy exploration, and there is a Cryptozoologist involved, so it might surprise us all. But yeah, looking at it as someone who wants to see serious Cryptozoology, it does seem a little frightening. As a fan of the Hillstrand brothers, I rather expect craziness mixed with dedication to whatever they are doing.
