That said, all the best to Mr. Yowie Man. He is actually talking about issues (like education and budget deficits) that makes him something of a cryptid amongst "real" politicians.</description>

There actually has been at least one other "cryptozoologically aware" politician, Wisconsin's State Rep. Chuck Coleman (distant relative? :-)) described in my first book who won election to Congress after claiming he was endorsed by The Beast of Bray Road, thereby garnering all the pro-upright canid votes.  He even had a photo of "The Beast" signing his endorsement, again proving just how painfully difficult it is to fake an upright canid or any other hairy hominoid with a human in costume. But I'd vote for Yowie Man!
