I'm male, 35, from Minneapolis. I have Cryptomundo on my RSS feed as well. This being said, as long as I have my laptop with I am reading this site, even on vacations and at work. I have never been actively Cryptid hunting, but do keep myself up on the local "scene" when I travel to hopefully guide me to interesting places to see or local books to look for. Crypto-tourism as it were!

As for the actual articles... I prefer news related info and sighting reports. I do appreciate your personal insights, but I keep my eyes open for the "juicy bits" for the most part.

Shane, age 36, Massachusetts

1) I read it daily when I can, not in a work place (mainly because I have job but no static "workplace").

2) no.

3) longer thoughtful items, I like to have as much information as possible on a given subject with any nuances intact. and I very much like the older newspaper and historical report posts that are given time to time on Cryptomundo.

But, as is this is a great site, Thanks for putting it out here.

45 Female, Dallas, Texas.

Right now I do not have a computer at home, so I use part of my lunch break at work to visit the sight almost daily.

It is a little more convenient, since my time is limited, to read the shorter posts, but when I have the extra time, I also enjoy the longer more thoughful ones.

21 male here. I check the site not every day, but at least once every three days. Heh, I checked for updates on Easter. I work in retail, so I don't have access to a computer at work. I've checked the site in class though, back when I took computer-related classes.

As for length of articles, it really depends on the subject matter. I like the classic cryptids - Bigfoot/Yeti/Skunkape, Thunderbirds, Nessie. For those subjects I'll read any length of article. Now other subjects like for instance the mysterious cats and dogs, ehn, depends on if I have time. I'll usually just skim those articles if they are longer. Any unidentifiable remains (re: Montauk Monster, globsters) I'l take the time to read the entire article.

I've never actually used Cryptomundo for a school assignment, but if given the chance to do a research project on something cryptozoologic I definitely would cite here. I've actually cited Cryptomundo in an online debate in a (now-defunct) forum I modded at.

I've never been on an expedition, but that doesn't stop me from looking when I'm taking the backways to get somewhere. I swear I saw something once in the woods, but it was so brief I just dismissed it as a deer.

Male, 37---(almost 38). Georgia, USA.

Try to read Cryptomundo every day when I can. Don't have a computer at home so the public library does fine.

Cryptomundo is one of ten sites I post and go through daily. Loren's CopycatEffect Blog is also on that list of ten.

I prefer the briefer stories if I don't have the time but if I DO have the time I can sit down and enjoy the longer ones at leisure.

Never used this for a school paper.

33, male, engineer

I read cryptomundo exclusively at work, hardly ever miss a day. I spend most of my time during the week in front of a computer so I rarely get on the computer at home since I've likely already been sitting in front of one for 40+ hours during the week. When I get home, the last thing I want to see is a computer screen, but in the off-chance that I did get online at home, I would certainly check to see if there were any new topics posted since my last visit.

Well, Better late than never..lol

Sasada,40, location withheld.

Cryptomundo for me is an escape from the hum~drum of everyday life. In the past, I was an avid BF researcher. But due to the controversy and all out bad light that has been shed on this work, I have gone back to the pharmaceutical field, and animal tracking ( for the local wildlife center).

But I have to give credit where it is due, Loren Coleman is a bright beacon in this field of cryptozoology. He has kept this long controversial subject alive and my hat is off to him.

So Loren, stand up and take a long deserved bow. Because you have earned it my friend.

Cryptomundo is and always will be #1 in my book.

Tim, Age 22, Canada.

I check Cryptomundo everyday at least a few days a day so see what is up. I only check it at home.

I enjoy short posts because I am usually strapped for time. But I do enjoy reading longer thought out posts occasionally. I think it depends on the topic. I thought the Racism in Cryptozoology post was interesting and any stories on expeditions, people, and certain cryptids and what it's like to be a cryptozoologist. I also like helpful hints on anything related + videos and pictures.

I do not use cryptomundo in the field and I have not used cryptomundo for any school papers.

Keep up the great work!

Matt, age 49, Colorado: I check it a couple of times a day. I work from home in my day job as a consultant, so I have some freedom there. I'm often led here by an interesting story posted on the crypto newsgroups. I've not really done fieldwork, so that question doesn't apply. Keep up the good work.
