Greetings from New Hampshire!

I gained interest in the subject of cryptozoology after watching programs about the loch ness monster and bigfoot. I am very interesting, in fact obsessed by bigfoot. When people think about bigfoot and sasquatch the pacific northwest comes to mind. But we have sightings here and stories dating back to the early 1930's, and a few sightings in southern New Hampshire going back to the 1970's.
For lake/sea monster in the New England area as you have probably heard of we have champ of lake Champlain, and the new england sea serpent off the coast of Massachusetts. We also have the dover demon of dover, Massachusetts. The world is full of cryptids and creatures that continue to elude us and remain in the darkness.

I am the Marine Education Program Counselor for the Atlantic City Aquarium/Ocean Life Center in Historic Gardner's Basin, Atlantic City, New Jersey. I have had an interest in CZ ever since I can remember, probably greatly aided by my living in Jersey Devil country. I read everything I could on JD growing up, and remain convinced that something is out there...possibly several different somethings (Thunderbirds, Sasquatch, Mystery Kangaroos, etc.). I have been going to college on and off again as best as I am able, and am now just a few credits shy of a degree in History. Every month I devour my Fortean Times, Fate, Discover, Scientific American, and National Geographic, and have been known to regurgitate them on unsuspecting victims. I am quite pleased to have been able to interject a few CZ items into my work/schoolwork. My final presentation for a class on the Pleistocene concerned the continuance of megafauna into historical times, and the possibility that some may still exist today. I was very surprised when my teacher spoke up about American Lions, saying that he had seen a large black cat once in a desolate stretch of Colorado. I am proud to say that amongst the information on local wildlife that can be found on the Ocean Life Center's computers is an entry on Megalodon, with a list of possible modern sightings, written by me.

The Greater Washington, DC area, where megafauna like lawyers doctors and lobbyists abound; where The Government Herd, a million strong, calves every summer on the coastal plain; and where beavers herons muskrats minks foxes and opossums qualify as cryptids, and occasionally a cat disappears, a probable coyote midnight snack.

Me? I'm rumored to exist. But damn few clear photos. Most think I'm a deer.
