Cryptomundo’s very own Craig Woolheater and his team of Texas Bigfoot Research group are shown extensively in this documentary.

Your CryptoZoo News host here at Cryptomundo is on screen, too, in this program to give a little history and commentary.

Loren Coleman About Loren Coleman
Loren Coleman is one of the world’s leading cryptozoologists, some say “the” leading living cryptozoologist. Certainly, he is acknowledged as the current living American researcher and writer who has most popularized cryptozoology in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Starting his fieldwork and investigations in 1960, after traveling and trekking extensively in pursuit of cryptozoological mysteries, Coleman began writing to share his experiences in 1969. An honorary member of Ivan T. Sanderson’s Society for the Investigation of the Unexplained in the 1970s, Coleman has been bestowed with similar honorary memberships of the North Idaho College Cryptozoology Club in 1983, and in subsequent years, that of the British Columbia Scientific Cryptozoology Club, CryptoSafari International, and other international organizations. He was also a Life Member and Benefactor of the International Society of Cryptozoology (now-defunct). Loren Coleman’s daily blog, as a member of the Cryptomundo Team, served as an ongoing avenue of communication for the ever-growing body of cryptozoo news from 2005 through 2013. He returned as an infrequent contributor beginning Halloween week of 2015. Coleman is the founder in 2003, and current director of the International Cryptozoology Museum in Portland, Maine.

This is a good show. While little if any new info is presented, depending on how much Bigfoot info you currently have downloaded in your brain, the show is new. We need more new shows to pop up and draw in new bigfooters.

  2. Lesley responds:

Is this the same episode of Weird Travels I caught a bit of a couple days ago? I know Loren was on and they were talking about the Jersey Devil and Mothman, among others.

  3. Loren Coleman responds:

The Bigfoot episode is a repeat from earlier this month of an entirely new documentary, but nothing is said on there by me about the Jersey Devil and Mothman.

I am in three currently new broadcast Weird Travels programs on the Travel Channel. They are Bigfoot, Lake Monsters (Nessie and Champ), and Winged Weirdies or Wonders or some such title (Jersey Devil and Mothman).

  4. Loren Coleman responds:

Additional info: The Travel Channel, on Friday the 13 (10 PM) broadcast a new Weird Travels entitled “Creepy Creatures.” It is my understanding that it contained information on Bigfoot, Mothman, and a variety of cryptids. I wonder if it was a montage of their new cryptid shows.

  5. Craig Woolheater responds:

The episode that Lesley is referring to is titled “Creepy Creatures”. It features Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, the Jersey Devil and Mothman.

  6. Lesley responds:

Cool, the bigfoot ep on the 30th will be entirely new!

Sorry. Comments have been closed.
