I got to agree with "dharkheart" on this one. The host does nothing more than scamper around in the dark in the two episodes I watched. He seems breathless in his comments and a bit too flippant for my tastes. It reminds me videowise of the X-Files without the witty script.

Well, for once I disagree. Not that the premise of the show is faulty by any means, simply that the cursory treatment of individual investigations is easily outweighed by the local nightlife in many instances.

Also, there is a tendency to rush headlong into the scene ruining any chance of a definitive piece of photgraphic/video evidence.

It exists where before there was a void; re-runs of re-runs of Loch Ness, Bigfoot, etcetera. I won't watch it because of the antics of the host and his seeming inability to contain his exuberance at the prospect of actually seeing something they have set out to confirm.

Simply because it's the only up to date show currently airing in the genre, of which I am aware, is not enough to get me to watch. Hey, replace the schoolboy with Loren and they just might have something there!

Very well said Loren. I for one happen to like the show. Only bummer is, it is on past my bedtime. I hit the hay pretty early. But I'll stay up and watch sometimes. Depending on what topic they are covering. Hopefully in the next season they will come to the Pacific Northwest and maybe get some good Bigfoot evidence. I wonder what they would do if they actually came across 1 or 2 of the Big Ones ?
