That was a very interesting article about the Carolina Parakeet and I was on the 10,000 bird website not too long ago and there were people who had recent sightings of Carolina Parakeets!

One sighting of was in 1981 in Baltimore County of three parakeets. – I’m from that county in Maryland.

Other sightings were in South Carolina in the 1980s and 1990s. The interesting thing is that the people know what a Carolina parakeet compared to a monk Parakeet. There have been recent sightings of these Parakeets in South Carolina. I’m very interested in your thoughts.
