		<description>I read an advanced copy of this through a Barnes &#38; Noble first-look program.  If you're looking for anything grand and deep about the "monster" that washes up on shore, you'll be disappointed.  The story is more about a woman wrestling with her own monsters.

I'm not trying to pan it, as I enjoyed the read, though it's not my typical cup of tea when reading it.  I was originally lured in by the talk of the monster and was ultimately left wanting for more in that department.</description>
