I also would love for this to be true. It looks like it is, in which case, this goes to show the ability of any lifeform to survive under supposedly harsh conditions. We have so much to learn.

I don’t consider them cuddly or cute, but I do have a place in my heart for them due to Looney Tunes. That plus the Road Runner.

I absolutely love these creatures. Their ferocity makes them the southern counterpart of the wolverine.

This would be fantastic if it’s verified. We need a mainland population given the plight of the Tasmanian population with the cancer epidemic. So far only road kills of suspected “escaped” populations from Victoria etc, a population in an isolated national park would be awesome.
