It took courage to go against the main stream and publish things we were all curious about.even if most were to gutless to admit it at the time. Admit it now ,you know its true.
It was entertaining and educational A job well done and a fine example of freedom of speech as it should be.
Maybe more people should look at the material before George Bush discovers it and removes your right to read it.
A great man is gone ,even if you didnt agree with him, he was to be admired for his true courage if nothing more. May he rest in peace.

Lyle Stuart was a strong advocate of freedom of speech and freedom of the press. He wrote an intro to his reissue of The Turner Diaries noting he strongly disagreed with the concepts of the text.

His overriding motive was to support the access to all points of view in a free society.

This, of course, included his strong support of Fortean stances too, in his early Frank Edwards’ books.

Yes, Citadel, Target, and several other publishing companies were all part of the Lyle Stuart empire or had agreements for overlapping publishing of their titles.

Dear Loren,
Indeed a remarkable, almost spooky coincidence of UFO related dates–Kenneth Arnold seeing his famous nine “flying saucers,” and then all these UFO-related personalities dying, on June 24, “St. John’s Day.” Incidentally, did Lyle Stuart have any connection with Citadel Press. Is or was Citadel affiliated with Lyler Stuart Inc.? Ironic, though, that he should have re-issued a neo-Nazi rant like _The Turner Diaries_ in 1996 after himself suffering from anti-semitism as a young man in the Merchant Marine. Or was he trying to capitalize on Timothy McVeigh’s notoriety, McVeigh reportedl;y being an enthusiastic _Turner Diaries_ fan?–Peace, T. Peter
