I wanna go on record about this conference review being my favorite post to date on CryptoMundo. I’ve seen some great posts on her by both Loren and Craig but it’s this level of discourse on anomalous subjects that is so sorely lacking in “paranormal” fields other than Fortean / Anomalistic / Parapsychological arenas.

Bravo Loren! And thank you for bringing it to our attention!

Ah, the melding spirit of lumpers and splitters is evident in these conference papers. We would do well to see these grey areas better expanded.

Again, Loren does an excellent job interpreting the context and tone.

This conference sounds absolutely fascinating. I was mesmerized just by the excerpts from the papers written here and of course I always enjoy Loren’s commentary on what he saw. I sure would love to see these papers in their entirety.

Sounds like an interesting conference Loren- thanks for reporting back- I’m definitely going to try and dig out some of Paulson’s work- reminds me somewhat of some of the papers in Raymond Corbey’s book ‘Ape, Man, Apeman: Changing view since 1600′.
