It would be surprising if TS was NOT involved with the CIA. Rich Americans who travelled alot were routinely debriefed (voluntarily) by the CIA Domestic Contacts Division then, especially Texas oil folks. Richard Helms testified that Clay Shaw -- the only person ever brought up on charges in the John F. Kennedy assassination -- had been debriefed or simply reported on no fewer than thirty-three separate occasions. Hi, I’m the new guy.

Great article as are all the others, always look forward to reading your column!
