My goodness, I’m blushing! I didn’t even know Loren had posted this until tonight, as I was pondering a job I applied for and whether or not too many weird connections would come up in association with my name online. (Too late). Too cryptidsrus and Melmoth–the name Alfvegren literally translates as “elf clan” in Swedish. The family lore is that we’re descendants of the dark elves of old Scandinavia, who wouldn’t cooperate with the humans (unlike the light elves). Apparently we were banished to an island, but for some reason my uncle thinks we have a connection to Dalmatia. I’ve recently found the name common in Gotland (?), Sweden. I know there was a Swedish pop singer with the surname Alfvegren. Perhaps the Norwegian can shed some light?

Well, Hi, there, little missy! Is her name of “Nordic” extraction, as in people from Sweden and/or Norway/Denmark/etcetera? Cause she sure reminds me of one of those legendary models from the North Countries. Think “Beer Commercials.” As in “Miller Lite.” Wish her many years of luck studying Fortean subjects.
