If you read the account, the Sasquatch really doesn't make any aggressive moves, and after all, look what he does when the woman faints- He runs away!

There's definitely a relationship between these events and the first expedition in these parts...in 1934

see <a href="http://www.cryptomundo.com/cryptozoo-news/1-exped-1934/">here</a>

preacherman is quite right. Nothing in this report really demonises the creature; it does not print a fictionalised account of attack, for instance, which one would expect if the writers were simply going for sensationalism.

Bigfoot does have a scary appearance. His face, like that of a gorilla, looks to scowl.

If the report is based on fact (and there's no reason to suspect such an early report of being fiction) then I would lay money that the woman was experiencing menses at the time of the encounter.

Cheers!

I see nothing inconsistant with comtemporary sighting reports in these old reports. People are still shaken by these beings. The thing that strikes me over & over from reports from Native American's is their "humanizing" of these beings referencing them as "wild-men".And if they are more human that animal then they are capable of some very nasty triats. HA! "Harry & the Hendersons" is not the proto-type of these things....they are either a "wild-man" or a "wild animal". What part of "wild" don't we understand.

Like the natives of Tibet, It is often hard to seperate myth and reality for the situation of that day. It does not seem to be the "gentle giant" that we know of, nor does it match the view of Native Americans/Canadians have of the creature that I have read or seen on video. Perhaps a way of keeping children close to home and keeping them from getting lost?

First time I've heard of Sasquatch humming. How can a person possibly hear the humm and not sense the smell? I wasn't there so I cant say, but I can contribute my comment.
