This reminded me of the famous Albert Ostman abduction story, and how the male Bigfoot carried poor Albert all the way to his lair like a sack of potatoes… or should I say, like a sack of toys?

Tracy Twyman claimed Santa was based on Saturn, the Roman deity closely identified with the Greek Titan Kronos (Cronus). Fearful of a prophecy that his children would overthrow him, Cronus swallowed two sons and three daughters as soon as his wife and sister Rhea gave birth to them.

Twyman said on “Binnall of America’s” BOA Audio, that the reason people left cookies and milk for Santa came from the ancient belief that Saturn had to be satiated so he would not eat folks’ children during Saturnalia.

Not any crazier than what I read here or heard before. Why can’t we just let the man do his job and deliver toys to the world’s children?
