There is also a place called Primarily Primates farther northwest of San Antonio. It could also be looked at as a place where primates might escape from.

Let's remember the big hoax of Bigfoot in a freezer last year. Well one of the famous hoaxers has connections in San Antonio. In fact, there was an address posted there just before it disappeared, that when you looked it up on Google earth, showed a taco stand with a "body" shop next door. Now Dyer had another "ape" suit that he was going to try to pull off as another hoax, before they disappeared like their site did. I would not put it past him to be behind the sightings. As far as the dumpster incident....that could be almost almost any similar sized animal.

Oh, and when I lived in Waco (quite a bit north of San Antonio) I found a dead coati in a trashcan once. So the range matches.

Well, it doesn't necessarily say that the print is from paint. It could very well be dust from the bondo that is used to level out small dents or to fill in the drill holes used to pull out larger dents, or anything else. Plus, since auto-painting is done with an airgun, its not like they are "dumping" a pan of paint like you would use when roller painting your living room. They probably keep base paints and pigment or metal flake add-ins. The only paint thrown out would be nearly empty containers, but those can still have small amounts of paint that could drip out, and it wouldn't seem out of the ordinary, to me, for a monkey foraging in the dumpster to step in some of this.

I'd like to see the video of it snatching the peanut butter sandwich though, blurry or not.

Coati. I could even see how people unfamiliar with them could mistake one for a baboon.

I'm in agreement with inbetween, my first impression was definitely human. After all, someone finishes painting, goes out to dump the rest of the paint/what-have-you, in the dumpster and gets a hand print on the dumpster because he hasn't washed the paint off. And that's another thing I don't really understand, how did the monkey get into the paint?

The car print DOES seem very Rhesus Monkey, like JMonkey said.

And I also agree that these sightings seem to be of two VERY different animals. The Bigfoot would not leave tracks this small.

Could it be an "escaped animal" that the Research Facility does not want to acknowledge??? Hmm. Great coverage, though. :)

It is an auto body shop, of course, meaning it is a reconstruction facility to fix used cars in need of repairs due to wrecks, rust, and related reasons.
