I must say that although I have found this series of articles very good, i think this is the weakest so far. Perhaps this is because it is making a positive claim (it is inherently so much easier to disprove a footprint than to show that it should be accepted as valid)- but I need to have more info (perhaps I need to follow up his references- if only I had the time…) before I’m going to feel comfortable with accepting these prints.

The_Carrot- it seems to me that people have always vastly over-estimated the population. I can’t see BF having a population much higher than for mountain gorillas- the low thousands at most.

If they exist at all.

If the fake footprints are filtered out of the database what does that do to the estimated population numbers? I.e., does this drastically lower the number of Sasquatch estimated to be living in North America?
