Museum Appreciation

I send out a simple heartfelt “thank you.”

I have much to be thankful for this year. I appreciate the artwork design Duncan Hopkins donated to the museum in the production of the logo above, to the two on-site docents Jess and Jeff Meuse for assisting with the space of the museum, for Rob Carignan for working on exacting blueprints of the museum, for the two people who sent in welcome donations this week, and for all the others of you who have been there.

A moment to say thank you to all who have donated to the museum earlier, especially in March-April 2007, as well.

Only through the continued support by cryptozoo-minded individuals like you will the museum continue to survive and get better. Only through donations will the status of the museum continue to be recognized as an entity useful for sharing research, a viable media setting for grounded interviews on cryptozoology, and a logical exhibition site for educational purposes for students.

Please donate to the International Cryptozoology Museum by sending your financial donations and cryptozoology artifacts to Loren Coleman, Director, ICM, PO Box 360, Portland, ME 04112, or via any fiscal donations (nothing is too small) to PayPal at LColeman@maine.rr.com [Please note: I do not receive the donations via the PayPal button over to the right; I only receive donations directly sent to me. Any monies sent to Cryptomundo, go to the running of Cryptomundo.]

Thank you for any consideration for that extra ten dollars, yens, renminbis, pounds, euros, rupees, francs, pecos, dinars, levas, marks, kroners, or rands for the museum. You have always come through in the past, and it is my hope you are there now. My gift in return is this museum for the ages, a collection of evidence, culture, and material (one-of-a-kind art objects, hair samples, casts, Native art, unique tourist souvenirs, and more) that would have been lost 30, 40, or 50 years ago.

Enjoy your special holiday season, no matter what country, religion, belief system, or Wild Woodperson Santa you call your own.

Just for clarification, the museum is not a 501(c)3 public charity or private foundation.

Happy Tanksgiving!!! I think Bigfoot should be thankfull today. It’s another year gone by and nobody’s caught him yet! He sure don’t seem to wanna be caught, ya know?

Be safe all of you who are traveling…safe, and undelayed!

  4. bucko responds:

I spelled Thanksgiving wrong. I look so stupid.

  5. red_pill_junkie responds:

This may of been answered before but do you have or plan to have the logo on t-shirts?

  7. Mnynames responds:

I think we can all be thankful for Cryptomundo, and those who bring it to us. Keep up the good work.

Happy Thanksgiving to all Cryptomundians, no matter where you are! Since I rarely get to go back to the States for Thanksgiving, I get pretty homesick this time of year. Please enjoy your special day with your families! I wish a Happy Thanksgiving to Loren and the other bloggers here as well. I am constantly impressed with the quality of content, intelligent insights, and the large amount of sharp people commenting here who know their stuff. have a great day!

Bucko- Don’t worry about the spelling, I actually thought it was intentional and funny! :)

  9. bucko responds:

Thanks Mystery_Man, you’re alright. This is easily the best site I’ve found. I look forward to Lorens’ posts and all the comments that follow. It’s a joy to read everybodys opinions and knowlege on a wide variety of subjects. I learn new things here every day and really, that’s the most you could ask for.

  10. DARHOP responds:

Better late than never. Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving everybody. Hopefully your day was filled with joy and pleasant memories of loved ones gone. And don’t worry about your spelling bucko. You spelled Tanksgiving exactly like my Mother ( rest peaceful Mom ) would of said it. She was German. So thanks for one of the many memories I will have of my Mother this Thanksgiving.

  11. red_pill_junkie responds:

Yeah, cafepress.com could be a good idea for the moment, although from what I understand, after they charge their fee the money you end up receiving is not that much.

But that awesome coelacanth would make an über-cool key chain! :-)

  12. Emonix responds:

I would buy some t-shirts with the logo on it.
