Well, it’s not even like we should be shocked that dog is on the menu - after all, even humans have been known to eat dog in certain parts of the world.

I’ve always heard that Saquatch is omnivorous, Scott C..
So I agree with you. Does not surprise me.
I remember reading an eyewitness report once of Sasquatch killing a dog by hitting it ONCE in the head with a stone. Their strength was such that all it took was one blow. So yep, Ole Hairy seems to “have it in” for Fido.

I seem to remember reading that Sasquatch have always had it out for dogs. Sasquatch/human encounters are likely to be peaceful, unless you have a dog, in which case the ape may become aggressive.

This report would seem consistent with that claim.

Yeah, the soil appears too hard to give a clear print - but I find the detail about the dead dogs interesting. Evidence, perhaps, of Sasquatch’s omnivorous nature?

The photo looks like some of the prints we’ve found around the Pollock Pines CA area off of US 50 near the Sly Park exit. It appears to have to have been taken in very hard soil which isn’t going to give much of a clear print. It does appear to have the characteristic double ball.

I don’t see evidence of any type of shoe or boot pattern and I wonder if it could be a place where people go barefoot. As stated it needed something next to it to indicate size.

I guess I see markings at the end of the print that sort of suggest toes, but the shape and outline look like a big shoe to me.

Of course, from the photo you can’t get a real close look at things…

Everything in her description was pretty textbook, nothing really intriguing there. The footprint is interesting, though of course no one thought to put another object next to it to compare its size.
