Pflock Dies
Posted by: Loren Coleman on June 6th, 2006

Skeptic Karl Pflock passed away at 3:16 P.M. Mountain Time on June 5, 2006, at his home in Placitas, New Mexico. Karl was an intelligent and faithful friend, who, in the past, served his country as a Marine, a CIA officer, and as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Deputy Director) for Operational Test and Evaluation. He was well-known in anomalist circles as a thoughtful critical thinker. Most of his writings dealt in areas outside of cryptozoology, although he did dip into Bigfoot criticism.

Seeing is believing….I don’t care what the skeptics say…except to the extent that it hampers genuine scientific interest and research…..I was skeptical too…until…that first fateful afternoon.
all the best…
ole bub and the dawgs
Pflock was a relatively young man, it is a great shame.
Unlike some skeptics that one could mention, his tone was even-handed & intelligent. Exactly the kind of mind we need in the research field of ‘the strange’. He will be missed.
To me I am sorry to hear of his passing. And everyone on the planet has a right to form their own opinon. If it be believer or skeptic to each his own. Myself I do like hearing from all sides and point of views from the believers and the skeptics and in the end we must form our own conclusions on any given subject.
