Scott T. Norman’s Funeral & Memorials

Scott T. Norman, 43, a dedicated and famed cryptozoologist, who specifically was interested in cryptid dinosaurs, died suddenly during the early morning hours of Friday, February 29, 2008, in Fullerton, California.
His family has informed me that Scott’s funeral will now occur at 11:00 am Pacific time, on Monday, March 10, 2008, at the Petra Bible Church, 115 Iris Drive, Salina, California (831-422-5683). See map below.

Scott’s local church, the Eastside Christian Church, 2505 Yorba Linda Blvd, Fullerton, California (714-871-6844), will have a memorial service for Scott Norman on his birthday, March 15, 2008, at 1:00 pm Pacific Time.

In preparation for saying goodbye (on this plane), Scott’s brother Javin told me this morning that Scott has been cremated in his safari suit. I certainly know he would have liked that.
Javin also related how Scott’s signature fedora is now hanging in his honor at the Fox Fullerton Theater, which Scott was helping to restore. The historic theater is located in Fullerton, California, at the corner of North Harbor Boulevard and Chapman Avenue. If you go to a movie there, after the restoration project is completed, take note of the fedora in remembrance of Scott.
John Kirk has told me that Cryptosafari will continue onward as a tribute to Scott, with Scott being featured prominently throughout the site as its founder and as the driving force behind its creation and early functioning.
Scott T. Norman will soon have a permanent display in his honor, regarding his pursuit of living dinosaurs, at the International Cryptozoology Museum. Archival footage of Scott’s Showtime television appearance shows Scott with his extensive collection of dinosaurs, and an auburn pterosaur replica hanging from his ceiling. These images will be used in an attempt to recreate his collection, configured around the few important original items generously donated to the ICM by his family and church.
My condolences, thoughts, and prayers go out to all those whose lives were touched by Scott. He is missed.
