A little explanation on the reward money offer…

We at Niki’s are offering a $100 reward because the original was a gift from Seth (Jared’s cousin). Seth had written a special message on the bottom of the statue and so we know if some other one turns up as the “returned” Sasquatch is truly the original. The orginal has sentimental value.

As to the additional $300 dollars added to the reward, that comes from a local radio station: B94 (93.7 FM). The stipulation is that the people claiming the reward have to claim it at the radio station.

One of these statues popped up in my neighbors front yard this past week. I asked my five year old if she knew what it was and she replied “That’s Bigfoot!”. Made me smile to know I have a budding amateur cryptozoologist in the house.

Jared, Seth and I have been stalking bigfoot for quite a while now. So, when Jared/Niki’s Sasquatch statue was stolen we were shocked… we actually had a real-live bigfoot hunt going on.

Interestingly, Seth is the police officer in charge of the investigation and he is VERY motivated to get him back (especially since he purchased the statue for Jared).

We should have a police update by this Thursday as to the status of the investigation.

Do those statues have some sort of serial number? If not, someone might gain a 300% profit in this deal.
