Nice attempt at a hover barge.

I saw this thing on Wildboyz. Steve-O and Chris were driving around “Beverly Hills”, ramming this thing into all kinds of old furniture, TVs, lamps, and assorted breakable things.

20K seems kinda high. It’s really small. I think any redneck with a shadetree degree in electrical wiring, lawn mower repair, and welding could build this monster bigger for less than 2, maybe 3 grand.

I also agree it DOES look like Luke Skywalker would be right at home on top of it.

Hey! I remember this strange contraption. It was pictured in the Obsessed section of Wired magazine a while ago. The builder tried to re-create (as best he could) the Tatooinian hover barges that Jabba the Hutt and his retainers used to cruise the desert and watch some poor soul being thrown down to the Sarlacc.

This POS looks like Jabba-the-Hutt’s Sail barge w/o the sail. I know our TRUE crypto-scientists..(and note I said SCIENTISTS – read – researchers)…could come up with something more practical. Really, how practical is this thing???

That’s on E-Bay as “one new”??? It look like someplace I’d think of if I wanted to buy an R2 unit and a translator droid who could speak bocce! And yet I suspect they will have “luck” in finding the death worm, I myself saw it consume several of Jabba’s guards, and almost eat Lando Calrisian!
Now if I were looking for a death worm, I think I’d just take a lamb on a l-o-n-g stick and mop it around in front of me like a bad landmine detector. Maybe that’s how I’ll make my millions:
“For Death Worm bait that’s easy and quick,
Lamb on a Stick! Lamb on a Stick!”
Or not.
