Bigfoot Sasqwatch & Statue Are Here

Posted by: Loren Coleman on August 5th, 2009

For the Bigfoot collector who seeks something totally unique, I recommend the Sasqwatch! Looking for that superwatch, totally rugged for fieldwork, well, here is the Bigfoot watch for you.

These solid, wilderness-tested, water resistant watches have been almost twenty years in the creation, and the artist-inventor’s journey in designing and finding a company to manufacture them is quite compelling.

If you wish to secure something special for that Bigfoot hunter in your family, think about giving a Sasqwatch for a birthday or holiday gift.

In a variety of colors, yet! And I won’t give away the surprise, but I loved the package it comes in.

If you wish to learn more about the Sasqwatch, go to their site and leave your sound on for the forest and bird sounds. Very welcome compared to someone yelling at me from my screen about a free iPod or box store credit card. 🙂

Order your Sasqwatch here. There’s a summer special sale going on. (I don’t get anything for the sales, btw. This is an unconditional recommendation.)

Well, if that’s the beauty, there’s got to be a beast!

On the unattractive replica front, I mentioned back in May that I had learned, via Boing Boing buddy David Pescovitz, of a new Bigfoot statue, sort of a larger than normal figurine. It was suppose to come in during July, and I just wanted to confirm they are available now.

Cute little ugly guy. It’s 18-inches tall, plastic (polystone), and sells for $29.99, before shipping, and you can find out ordering instructions via here.

Contribute your extra Bigfoot statues and souvenirs to the International Cryptozoology Museum at PO Box 360, Portland, ME 04112 USA. Help keep the museum well stocked….

🙂 Thank You.

I hope professional crypto investigators start wearing that watch, I’d like something that irreverent to be a Cryptozoo-fashion staple.

  2. cryptidsrus responds:

    Cool watch!!!

The thing is—folks will (unfortunately) automatically label it some sort of “Kids Watch”—the type one gets with special promotions at Mickey D’s or with “Specially Marked Boxes of (Insert Brand Cereal Name here)”—thereby ensuring a modicum of:

    1) Weird Stares;

    or,

    2) Chuckling, snarky comments behind one’s back—acompanied ocassional outbursts of “Nice Watch” (with extra-strength Sarcasm added with emphasis).

  3. cryptidsrus responds:

You know what, though—I wouldn’t care!!!

Cryptozoology is not something one always gets into for the “popularity”—it’s for the knowledge and thrill of unravelling the mysteries of this ever-wonderful Earth.

    So yes—I guess I’ll take the laughs…:)

  4. forsakenfuture responds:

I have to agree with your first post,Cryptidsrus. If you could get it without the big plastic foot i would of probably of ordered one.

Sorry. Comments have been closed.
