Chris Murphy needs help identifying some people in this 1994 Sasquatch-related photograph.
Can you assist with positive identifications of any of the individuals in this picture? (Obviously, I am the one at the extreme right in the lineup here and Peter Byrne is apparent, too.)
Who are the others in this gathering? Please leave your suggestions, below, in the comments section. Thank you.

Well, I can’t name any names, but the man to the far left has ties to Buffalo NY. Canisius College is a private college in the area. Teacher? Student?
Greetings All!
My guesses are:
Eric Gansworth – Author of “Breathing the Monster Alive”
An unidentified Bigfoot researcher from Canada
John Green – Author and in the original pantheon of Sasquatch Gods
Monica Rawlins? – Bigfoot Researcher
Mark Porter – TX Bigfoot Research Conservancy
Loren Coleman – SIU-C graduate
-OR-
L to r
Kenny Loggins, Simon Le Bon, Walter Kronkheit, Erin Moran,
Malcolm McDowell, Dan Haggerty
Eric Gansworth – don’t know
An unidentified Bigfoot researcher from Canada – maybe
John Green – definitely not
Monica Rawlins? – definitely not
Mark Porter – don’t know
Loren Coleman – yes
L to R.
1. Unknown.
2. Todd.
3. Peter.
4. Deborah.
5. Unknown.
6. LC.
This was taken at Mount Hood, yes? Circa 1994?
I’m more about the animal than about the personalities, so not much help there.
But isn’t the woman Bobbie Short?
No, that is not Bobbie Short.
Deborah who?
Oh this is easy.
Left to right:
Loren’s brother, Jerry Coleman
Jeff Meldrum (no not THAT Jeff Meldrum)
Friar Tuck (yes THAT Friar Tuck)
Amee (the chick that Pure Prairie League sang about)
Mark Porter (TX BF Research Conservancy)
Peter Byrne’s twin brother
For those confused about reality and humor, all of Mr. Bede’s suggestions are jokes.
Still looking for all the actual identifications.
Okay I can do this -
I think these are all posters here on Cryptomundo, and I think this photo was taken at the Third Annual Cryptomundo Conference in 1994 (or thereabouts):
Mystery Man
Rick Noll
Peter Byrne
Kittenz
DWA
Loren Coleman
Sergio’s answers are very funny; however, they are not even close to real for four of the people pictured.
DWA was most certainly not at this gathering, nor in all probability any other you will ever see pics from here.
He told me that.
Still, he can take the compliment.
Todd Deery, Deborah Wolman, both of the Bigfoot Research Project. I believe the wall in the photo is at the BRP office in Hood River, the map and the curtains look familiar. It’s been 13 years, though. I’m not certain it’s Deborah, I only met her once, but I’m fairly sure. This is way before anyone else mentioned here, even Richard Noll.
Peter, natty as always. You and Rene will always be my Batman and Superman, flaws and all.
Okay, here is what we know thusfar…
Left to Right
#1 – Unidentified male
#2 – Todd Deery, an assistant to Peter Byrne, at the Bigfoot Research Project.
#3 – Peter Byrne.
#4 – Deborah Wolman, personal assistant to Byrne, Bigfoot Research Project.
#5 – Jean-Paul Debenat, who is currently (2008) teaching comparative literature at the University of Nantes, France, and has written the only book in French on the Sasquatch.
#6 – Loren Coleman.
#1 unidentified man is Michael Noonan
(Today, he is a Ph. D., Professor of Animal Behavior, Canisius College, Buffalo, New York.)
Deborah was the office manager and had the unfortunate task of having to man the 1-800-BIGFOOT hotline the Bigfoot Research Project ran for several years. It was useful in some ways–some interesting reports were collected through the hotline–but Deborah got probably five crank calls an hour, 24/7, mostly from local kids but also from crankers across the country. (Remember, this was really before the World Wide Web and even email.)
Todd went out into the woods a lot.
Maybe Loren is right..
