well, it sounds like people are at least curious. That's a start for cryptozoology to begin getting seen as legit science, unless biscardi or chow has anything to do with it. sorry, they are beginning to anger me (even kept it clean for everyone). I would love to see that exhibit, but I live in northern california.

For the "invitation only" opening, over 300 people turned out. As to daily attendance, since the exhibition is free, there is only clear figures from the docents' counts and when people sign in. Reportedly, between 75 and 100 people per day are coming to view the show. What has amazed the museum folks is how far people are flying in and driving to attend and view this exhibition.

Back when I worked at the L.A. Museum of Natural History, some friends and I made concerted effort to get them to allow us to build a cryptozoology exhibit, which would have been as high-end as we could make it (including lifesize models of some of the cryptids).

Well, they decided against it, choosing to put up a SNOOPY exhibit, which had nothing to do with the Peanuts cartoons or their history. This exhibit consisted of several glass cases that exhibited stuffed Snoopy dolls dressed in clothing from all over the world.
