All they need to do now is find something conclusive.

I love the show, but that sort of fame should come after much more pain, and results (the pain is for ratings).

I like it! I’m going to have too use it sometime. For example, “A raise this year is a Monsterquest.” Works for me.

I thought the earlier version of Lawrence Friedman’s use of “Monsterquest” as a noun defined it a little differently than what is stated above. His original post said:

“Side note: I propose to start using “MonsterQuest” as a synonym for “inconclusive,” “unfinished,” or “impossible.” For example, “Mrs. Jones, the results of your pregnancy test were a MonsterQuest.” Or, “Don’t bother looking for that golf ball, its a MonsterQuest.”

That is a far cry from “condition not easily explained in the past”.

Anyway, I thought the original definition was more accurate and fitting.

“Inconclusive” and “not easily explained” aren’t really synonymous. Oh well, maybe MQ didn’t like Friedman’s version.
