Haha, this is definitely a very entertaining and humorous way to start a new year! Mothman is easily my favorite cryptid.

I’m sure the fellow who ended up with his unique little morsel of fried food could easily get at least $20 USD for his lucky(?) find on eBay. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if he ended up with $200 or more, though. People will buy some weird things.

Scott, I have a suggestion that may be of interest to you. I’ll get to that in a second.

First of all, I would not want to eat it either. And who knows what may befall you if you hold on to it.

Why not just put that item for sale on Ebay? I’m sure a couple of sites would be willing to promote the Ebay link. And then whatever the winning bid may be, donate that money to Loren to help out or to Cryptomundo for maintaining the site.

This accomplishes a couple of positive things. It ensures the potentially “bad omen fry” is out of your hands and you start your New Year off with a bit of good luck. And it will benefit either Loren or the Cryptomundo site with an unexpected “gift”. And we would all have a bit of fun watching the bids on Ebay.

Anyway, just my two cents, which hopefully, would not be the winning bid price on Ebay.

Scott, wait until you have a walnut bar in the shape of Col. Korff (or maybe just his shaved head), then sell the pair on ebay and give the results to the BFRO.

Off-topic sidetrips for this blog entry will be extremely tolerated, of course, for New Year's Day. But my hope is most people will end up taking a minute to go back and read The Top Cryptozoology Books of 2007 that will have a longer-term impact on the future of cryptozoology than this waffle fry.
