Mothman has been a serious crime fighter in comics since the 80′s. The first I know of was the Moth in Alan Moore’s Watchmen, the second was The Moth in the 90′s Image and Darkhorse comics.
That’s what got him to hit the bottle so hard
Wasn’t he, Mothman, locked away in an asylum in Maine?
Forgot to mention the Batman villian KillerMoth.
Don’t forget about Arthur the Moth in the cartoon series The Tick! Loved that show.
