   hey loren, craig, & everyone I hope you all here have a wonderful safe merry Christmas etc. I’m sure sightings of cryptozoology animals will be coming soon or new info or books etc about sasquatch.

   2006 was a great cryptoyear - just look at the top ten lists and Friday’s last minute Squidley - Merry Christmas to the Crypto Staff, Posters and Commenters - let’s all work to make 2007 even better!

   We have been made to search the heavens, search the deep forests, the deep caves and the seas. We study, we ponder and probe mysteries.

   Now here at Christmas a new search we begin, to find in our hearts - Peace on Earth and Goodwill to all men.

   BTW, the Sasquatch in the cartoon is based on the “Bumble Snow Monster” from the Rankin-Bass Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer TV Christmas special: at the end, what the Bumble did was to place the star on top of the Christmas tree.

   At the time the animation was done (early 1960’s) virtually nobody knew about Sasquatch although Sanderson’s book was already out. It was an obscure matter. But THAT is why it was an “Abominable” rather than a “Bigfoot”

   At any rate, All I really wanted to say really was Happy Holidays to everybody!
