They didn’t make a whole lot of sense before. But when I googled “macrodactyly,” they did.

It only makes sense that when you find lots of trackways, some will inevitably exhibit deformities.

Whenever I see Jeffrey Meldrum’s name I always seem to find myself half consciously initially reading it as Meldrew before correcting myself.

Unfortunately Meldrew was famous for his catchphrase “I don’t believe it!” which I also find myself half consciously saying whenever I see Meldrum’s name.

This might even explain why some British skeptical commenters seem particularly harsh on him at times seemingly dismissing his professional credentials out of hand.
