My family and I love the Dinosaur Center in Woodland Park! We even like to search for fossils when we manage to get out of Springs and go to the reservoir in Pueblo. There are also the tracks in Picketwire Canyon that are really neat, but it is such a long hike that the kids get tired out before we make it so we haven’t been there in a long time. This is one of the reasons why I love Colorado, there is so much history here just waiting to be found!

The nod to Colorado is much appreciated, Loren! We also have, at the site of the 1877 discovery of the original Apatosaurus (Brontosaurus), the discovery of baby sauropod tracks which may indicate the animal was running on its hind legs (!) The Denver museum and the Woodland Park dinosaur center much nearer my home in Colorado Springs are terrific. I'll need to go see the new finds when they are on display in Denver.
