‘If’ the whole carter farm situation were indeed true (there is just as much chance that the whole thing is a hoax like any other) then I don’t actually see any reason to suggest why bigfoot wouldn’t have some kind of language that could be translated. Even in other relatives (if you believe in evolution) of ours such as chimps etc, different sounds and facial expressions mean very real things, so it seems quite likely that if our tall cousins are real then they’d be able to talk to eachother.
Having language is one thing, but being able to create vast civilisations is quite another. Whales and dolphins have been found to have different dialects in different groups and locations, this says to me ‘language’, but I’ve yet to buy a second hand car from one. Many of our human-achievements have been driven by war and a need to be the best, most powerful nation in a world of many, maybe these guys aren’t stupid enough to be fighting amongst themselves in the first place.

I think it pertinant to mention Koko, and several other gorillas and chimpanzees that have been taught sign language. True, they did not originate those languages, but they can use them to express themselves in a very “human” fashion. they also use defining characteristics as descriptives, and can convey new concepts by combining existing words. Several parrots have been shown to be capable of the same thing.

To my mind,this means that the evidence presented here is irrelevant to the Hominin versus Ape theory. Could be either, since both are capable of speech in some form. Tool use and culture has also been well established now amongst gorillas and chimpanzees, so he was wise to exclude those.

The thing about this that disturbs me is that, already in part two, we get revelations that some of the more unbelievable material has been edited out of what is, already, a pretty unbelievable story (i.e. the “psychic communication”).
I hate to be one of those folks who immediately tries to explain everything away, but, you know, paranoid schizophrenics also come up with very elaborate, detailed and, from their perspective, logically flowing fantasies. Real to them. But fantasies none-the-less. Unless Carter-Coy can present us with better evidence than more of the already common “anamolous but unidentifiable hair” she offers, I will remain skeptical.
Again I will ask, what happened to the bones of the child that Sheba buried?

I never considered Bigfoot an ape….rather a hominid…nothing in either sighting reminded me of an ape….the mass and the bipedal locomotion were the most striking aspect…

Perhaps… I should read the rest of the essay before I ask….has anyone asked Fox a few hundred questions?
