I have a friend who is Penobscot (Abnaki) from Maine. He has spent a lot of time in the woods so I asked him about Sasquatch. He said they don’t question the existence of the creature. To them it’s simply part of their culture and the natural environment. He said while he has not seen a sasquatch, he has on rare occasions seen unusual signs or heard something in the woods besides bear, deer and moose.

Great bit on Bigfoot in Maine. These people seem to have the right idea, concentrate one area, don’t run all over the country looking here for a day…looking there for a day!!! Good luck to them!
