I remember seeing the trailer for it a few months back, and now its a DVD release… I didn’t even remember it coming out in theatres….

My wife loves this movie. We purchased the edition that came with a plush waterhorse.

I like my cryptids to have a viable biology. In the movie, “only one can be alive at any given time”. That’s pretty much where they lost me.

Really enjoyed this movie… more than I thought I would, in fact. Solid performances across the board, above-average effects work, and a surprisingly mature theme considering the “boy and his pet” angle. Highly recommended, and the Blu-ray release is a thing of beauty. Much like Nessie itself.
