Loren, Thank you for your great talk at the Belfast Free Library. It was so exciting to have you visit Belfast. I truly enjoyed meeting and speaking with you. I look forward to other, possibly longer talks in the area. Keep up the important work that you do! The world needs cryptozoologists whether they know it or not. You have inspired me to pursue a more zoology/biology based education.

Thanks again, Bridget

I've just watched a bigfoot segment on either the travel channel, or maybe a & e, that I taped. what a surprise it was for me to see Loren Coleman sharing his knowledge on the subject, I very much enjoyed it. If there's ever a chance that your speaking anywhere close to Pa, I'm definitely there. What a privilege it will be for all who attend, is there any chance you have recorded any of these types of events for purchase Loren?

Nice interview Loren. You are an important, well spoken, voice of moderation for cryptozoology. The hysterics and bandstanding are left for the amateurs who seek fame as their guiding principle.

As to March; I have lived in this state for 20 years now and do not ever remember a winter quite like this one. It's been storm after storm after storm.

Honestly, Patagonia would be a welcome respite from this.

Excellent interview Loren. As always, your replies were concise, knowledgeable, and humorous. I agree with many of your attitudes concerning cryptozoology and I myself am not much one for the "woo-woo" stories as you so amusingly put it. I am interested in the science behind these creatures, their biology, how they fit into the natural world. I see this field as an extension of zoology rather than some sort of pseudo-science, and therefore I too am interested in the importance of maintaining scientific standards to the research as well as accumulating real, tangible evidence. I want to know realistically how these creatures possibly live and behave, how they fit into the ecology, how they have evolved. I truly sympathize with you that you have to deal with so many people who just see the flashy, Twilight Zone media aspect of this sort of research, and that you have to wade through that in order to get to any serious discussion, be it about cryptids or about the Iriomote wildcat. I think you handle it as a perfect gentleman, with grace and a cool head.
