The footprint cast (pictured above and in many previous posts on this subject) has always made me feel that we are talking about two distinct animals when talking about the Johor Hominid. The (more human) one that Chow and Ang are promoting and that we all want to see the photos of and then the creature that has actually left physical evidence we CAN see (the more pongid style footprint) which is, in my opinion, likely a descendant of the orangutans said to have been released by "the late Sultan of Johor" sometime in the past 30 years, although, from the look of that footprint, that's one mighty big orang.

Or perhaps we are dealing with some unknown, giant pongid. Maybe it's just me, but this is no less exciting to me than the possibility of a more hominid ape.

A large unknown animal is still a large unknown animal, no matter how the foot is shaped.

I'm not sure what the johor foot prints came from, but definitely not from something "resembling" a human's foot print. That looks very much like something an orangutan, an ape or a gorilla would leave. Is the bit of plaster pointing straight at the girl on the left the big toe or some plaster that splattered? Something may be there, but an official big foot like we have here in america it isn't.

Maybe it's just me, but that photo, with the man, two women and a footprint looks vaguely like some sort of liquor ad.

"You'd believe it too, if you drank Johor Gin (TM)!"

 Refreshing and Cryptic! :)

Nachzehrer Says:
Be patient twblack. In the next reel they start throwing pies.

I sure hope so. What a dreary dog-and-pony show THIS has turned out to be!

Are the drawings supposed to be made from the photos? Please say no. What, then, would be the purpose of the drawings, if all were legit?

This is starting to resemble the Warren Commission "Investigation" more and more. (For those of you not conversant, the WC used drawings of alleged photos of the President's body, especially the head, instead of the photos themselves. That's ALWAYS fishy. It was to "protect the family", y'see, something that should have been done in Dealey Plaza, but wasn't!

The photo of the tracks from the Stephens article is very interesting. Much more what a hominid footprint would be expected to look like than the one that has come to represent the Johar homnids.

What is that saying "A rose by any other name is still a rose." Or such. It could be Stephens guides knew a different dialect than Short has realized yet.

It will sort out I am sure.
