		<description><![CDATA[Unfortunately, I think that&#039;s the case most of the time.  For most people, even a Bigfoot sighting only stays in the public eye for a short amount of time.  A few days pass, and whether people read about it or not, it&#039;s not enough of a fascination to keep a lot of people interested...or talking about it over a hundred years after it happened.

I live in a college town and if I mention the word cryptozoology, 90% of people (it&#039;s probably higher, but you know...) don&#039;t know what the word means or what I&#039;m talking about.  Unless you&#039;re &quot;into&quot; this stuff, it seems to escape most people&#039;s day to day worlds.  Interesting isn&#039;t it?]]></description>
