That story doesn’t make any sense. Did this kid think a mountain lion attack story would go over better with his parents than falling from a tree branch? If he was afraid of his parents not letting him hunt alone again, a panther attack story isn’t going to do you any favors kid.

I thought the story was fishy from the beginning. He wasn’t nearly messed up enough to have fought off a panther/mountain lion/beast/whatever.

As for hunting alone? After this story, he’ll be lucky if his parents let him go hunting at all.
