I agree with ‘ jmoore ‘ and I would be lying if I said there wasn’t a part of me that wasn’t scared. So therefore I also believe we should take a stand and rise up to this beast before the pain and blight is descended upon us! I feel this can be done, we just need to pull 2gether as one. Now I’m no expert in defeating monsters of this size…. Or any size in fact, therefore I need your help. I know everyone reading this are just as scared as myself and ‘jmoore’, however we need to be true to ourselves and be strong for each other and we shall come out of this triumphal.

I appreciate everyone’s input into this discussion/argument, but am I the only one who’s scared!?,…I mean, if this thing is real (and let’s face it, with this footage, it’s now surely irrefuteable!), is anyone safe in the area!??

I live in Basingstoke, so it’s a given that I’m more safe than your avarage Scotsman. However, I have seen another picture (again of excellent quality) where nessie is standing on a pontoon, meaning of course,…he’s mobile on land!!

Ladies, and gentleman,…I think it’s time to get together, and find this potential killer,…take heed!,…before he plans his strike!

Has it occurred to any “Nessie” researchers to check with NASA and it’s satellites, whether at the exact time of day, Gordon Holmes’ video is indeed authentic? After-all, we all know many countries, besides the U.S. Gov’t. use spy satellites which can magnify an object, anywhere on Earth with precise accuracy. Perhaps, Loren Colemen with his connections to influential people in the scientific world community could obtain this information. Also, the use of satellite technology to definitively help solve the Loch Ness enigma, would in my opinion, be of tremendous help. Any of these satellites can also be programmed to “Watch and Record” any animate activity on the Loch. Food for thought!

Excellent work on stabilizing this video. After watching it now it appears to me to be two otters or otter-like animals swimming along almost side by side. One seems to come up for air while the other goes under water slightly. What is trailing behind them just appears to be a wake in the water, although I can’t quite figure out how long, I would guess only a couple of feet!

The part of the video that looks compelling to me is what looks like an almost snake like head attached to a long neck breaking the surface. As for the part of the animal which stays beneath the water, I couldnt make out much in the way of details. An interesting peice of film, but I dont think anything conclusive can be drawn from it-unless you can somehow enlarge, while keeping a good amount of the focus, the head and neck.

I’ve watched a lot of seals, and I don’t think this moves like a seal. I think it’s an otter. Though interestingly enough, the only time I’ve ever seen otters in the wild has been on Loch Ness, so maybe I only thought they were otters… :p

A few things. I, like quite a few here, didn’t initially see the “neck, head, body” other were describing. After staring at both stabilizations for a while, it suddenly *did* jump out at me. My scale was wrong, and when I looked at it as being “further’ away I could see what appeared to be something swimming, a long neck, head and even possibly flipper moving on the front right side.

However.

Without someone having pointed those supposed “features” out to me, I doubt I would have recognized them, and as noted by several, the mind has a way of making sense out of things it doesn’t initially understand, giving shapes to the shapeless. Over all, it’s quite an interesting piece of video, and I’d like to see what some experts in video and sea life can come up with. I want to see a cryptid, but I just can’t trust my pattern seeing human mind.

Yeah, I don’t know where you guys are getting a neck and flippers from, other than perhaps your imagination. I frankly don’t think the footage is clear enough to be able to determine that, especially when the darkness of the body blends into the darkness of the wake, which equally blends into the darkness of waves in the background as it passes them.

Is it intriguing? Yes. Out of the ordinary? Yes. A log? No. A critter? Almost certainly. What kind of critter? Who knows, the quality of the footage just isn’t that good, at least not what I see here.

Figures though, I spend a few days away from Cryptomundo, and I come back to find not one, but multiple videos for my consideration, one of which (This one) stands out miles above the rest.

ONE OBVIOUS THING: THIS IS NOT A LOG!

The experts assigned to study this video will KNOW it’s not a log within SECONDS of seeing it! Anyone who things otherwise is obviously not thinking in terms of the laws of physics:

PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING EXPLANATION:

Logs don’t leave wakes! Have you ever stood by a river or stream and watched a log drift by? It has NO WAKE whatsoever! Why? SOMETHING CALLED: INERTIA! Because any inanimate, buoyant object will quickly match the speed of the current it is being moved it. Yes, a log will float along at the same speed as the surround current that’s moving it, therefore there will be NO WAKE.

WHAT PRODUCES A WAKE: Any object that has a resistance to the surrounding water or current, because it moves faster than, slower than, or AGAINST the direction of the current. This object ALSO has to be self-powered to do so. Therefore, torpedoes, boats, living things, and such, can produce WAKES because their capabilities allow them to break the inertial tendency.

TA-DA!!!! Now, why don’t you go brush up on your 3rd grade physics knowledge, folks, if you thing it’s a LOG

This was great to see slowed down. I also see the head and neck with what appears to be a massive body underneath, but I have a sinking feeling that this is a lot smaller than I want it to be. We really need a point of reference. I will be waiting to see what becomes of this.
