It has a very interesting connotation, partly derisive, partly sympathetic.

And of course, the direct descendant of the ‘Blobsquatch’ in this modern age, is the ‘Tubesquatch’ (i.e. blurry videos of purported Sasquatches posted on Youtube).

Abstract art that needs to be interpreted by the viewer isn’t proof. If it is flesh and blood roaming around out there we should see a clear photo, eventually.
We have clear photos of so many stealthy and secretive animals including human poachers that I dismiss blobsquatches as evidence. When we get another Patty image on a trail cam that is evidence.
