I thought it was a pretty good show. The maps were interesting, although I would have liked an analysis of human presence in the hot spots (that is, how does the number of sightings compare to the number of people living in or traveling through that area? Do reports rise or fall as more humans move in?)

I, too, thought the shaman idea was hard to take seriously as the core cause of sasquatch belief. The most common evidence proffered for saquatch is giant footprints, hardly the work of a shaman, and how many Native American societies still follow customs like the isolated shaman living in the woods anyway?

I noticed no one has commented on Bjones50's remarks, therefore I will. That is one hell of a statement. I don't mean to be rude but my BS alarm is going nuts!! So you have photographic and video proof of the existence of these creatures? Not just you but your buddy as well, evidence so good that you can even determine its neither man nor ape. Well, I personally don't buy it. If you do have evidence I hope you and your buddy present it soon, not to Fox News, but to credible researchers to be studied properly.

The Definitive guide to Bigfoot, was more a lot of hype and half truths than anything. I myself have been studying these creatures for several years and have seen them many times as does a friend of mine on facebook who has been studying and researching these sasquatch creatures for over 12 years and we have the photos and the videos to prove it. As I watched the show, I was amazed at the opinions and theories as to what the scientific world is trying to label these creatures as. And they are close but some are very far off base. I can tell you this much, they are not some type of ape or half man-half ape as they would like you to believe. When William and myself decide to reveal to you what we believe these beings to be, I think you will be very shocked. But you will also understand why a body has never been found.

Bigfoot: The Definitive Guide was very interesting and kept my attention. A first for a long time on the subject of Bigfoot. This piece came up with some realistic explanations of a reclusive but territorial primate. I would be interested in a follow up to this particular documentary

I liked the original Ghost Hunters, even though they never come up with anything beyond subjective evidence. The show never went anywhere. Later some people from similar shows arrived and I disliked the newer (people). They have locked down the parameters of the show so it cannot ever get better. So it’s a re-hash of the same “go-nowhere” TV show. There are people out there with extraordinary abilities, who shy away from the spotlight to a degree. They remain in a segment where non-believers can shoot them down every time. You begin to speculate if the show parameters are deliberately set up to fall short of real proof. There are a number of “channelers” with connections that seem to be able to supply evidence that the show would need. But channelers and this particular TV show do not seem destined to cross paths. There seems to be an acceleration happening. Channelers and psychics seem to be everywhere and the abilities seem incredible. We have non-physical intelligence access with unimaginable promise.

I never expected History Channel to conclusively proved anything regarding cryptozoology. Its not in their interest. They are part of the coverup gang.

National Geographic is no different.

So if they make a show like you are claiming, it will be more of the same MQ type stuff. Keep the audience excited only to deflate them at the end.

And milk the profits of course.

“Destination Truth” has begun to focus more on paranormal ghostly activity and has gotten away from the cryptozoological expeditions. It has caused me to lose interest. “Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files” rarely deals with unknown creatures as well and they seem more intent on disproving the videos, than actually looking for proof. It is a letdown as well. I didn’t realize National Geographic was coming up with a new show, so I checked the website. “Beast Hunter” looks awsome. I can’t wait for it to premier.

I look forward to Destination Truth and Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files and also it appears National Geographic is starting a new show, Beast Hunter; we shall see how that turns out, but for now I'm optimistic.
