Dr. Krantz was one of those brave few scientists who from the very beginning were not inclined to shy away from a controversial subject i.e., Bigfoot & Sasquatch regardless of the consequences. Without his critical attention and dedication plus from those with similar pursuits the subject might have never gotten any attention and relegated mainly to the realm of fantasy and folklore. Remembering Dr. Krantz with heartfelt respect and admiration.

I was truly saddened when I found out of his death before. As a young one, my dad got me into cryptozoology. And I remember at the young age watching him on TV. Now as a 20 year old I remember him as someone having an influence on sparking my interests in this strange cryptid world.

RIP Dr. Krantz.

I did not know he went to the body farm in Knoxville. That is where human remains are left out in open fields, woods and left to decay to skeletal remains for CSI research and anthropological studies. After seeing how fast some bones and remains decay and dissolve at the farm, it is no surprise that we can't find Bigfoot remains. One study found that field mice gobble up bones for the calcium at an astonishiong rate. I did some study at the farm some years ago, creepy place, but a lot has been learned there.

However, Dr. Krantz in his death still contributed to science, and his beloved field of study. We are honored here in Tennessee that he could rest his bones with us for a while.

All hail.

Grover Krantz is what hope for science looks like.

It's always good to see a practitioner of science who comes close to - it's almost impossible to attain - the high standards science sets, and should, for itself.

Wonder what he's doing now. Heck. He might BE a sasquatch now. If I were him I might want to try it on for size. See if I really COULD do it worth a damn.
