Mary Green’s Husband Dies

Posted by: Loren Coleman on June 10th, 2011

This notice was received recently, and I thought it worthy to pass along, for two reasons. Mary A. Green has been a frequent comment maker on Bigfoot lists for years. Mary Green was involved in the Janice Carter affair, and has both publicly broken with her and defended her. Janice Carter Coy and Mary Alayne Green wrote a book together about the Carter Farm alleged Bigfoot encounters.

Carter Family Drawing

Here is Igor Bourtsev’s re-creation meeting between Janice Carter and the alleged Tennessee Bigfoot named “Fox,” in March 2004, when she allegedly pulled out hair from the creature’s hand when giving him some garlic.

Also, it is important to note this, just in case anyone gets confused if they hear that “John Green has died,” for it could be based on this gentleman’s passing.

Jeffrey A. Teagle, President of The Chattahoochee Bigfoot Organization™ sends this news to Cryptomundo:

I am sad to say that Mr. John Green Sr. of Cookeville, Tennessee (not the Bigfoot John Green) has passed away due to long-term illness. John Sr. was the husband of Ms. Mary A. Green and I even got to meet him a few years back. He was a great fellow. Our sympathies from The Chattahoochee Bigfoot Organization™ go out to Mary and her family during this troubling time. 2. SCTabman responds:

Mary, you should be remembered for more than your association with Janice Carter. You have spent considerable time and effort working in the field as a researcher on your own. Your habitation work in Tennessee produced results, although unfortunately, like other researchers, definitive proof to show others always eluded you.

I will always remember our daylight sighting together. It’s a shame we accidentally taped over what we shot. If we hadn’t, they would be talking about YOUR footage here for a long time!

    Much Love!

  3. Dr Kaco responds:

My condolences to Mary and her family. The “Tennessee Bigfoot Lady” brings back some memories. I recall reading her stories over a dial-up line. ;p
