The sasquatch in the drawing looks rather odd compared with the Patterson film Mrs sasquatch and others. Mainly I think because it looks very fat. This may explain another problem, that the arms look too short. Shoudn't they end up somewhere near the knees rather than a bit below the hip as are mine? Then what about a few rippling muscles in this prime mail. If Fox is a corn fed farm sasquatch rather spoils the magic doesn't it? With great respect to Drs. Bayanov and Bourtsev I think we ought to have a more macho image than this cuddly looking tame looking saquatch drawing!

Anyone gifted with artistic skill can draw nice pictures. This is a lovely, evocative drawing, but it's not relevant to the search for evidence of exotic unknown animals. The expected appearance of Bigfoot is ingrained in public consciousness.

The Carter story is bonkers. Anyone who spends time on it is wasting a valuable resource. We don't want the best minds in cryptozoology being sidetracked with this crap.

When the Carter reps can come up with hair, scat, or prints that pass muster (have un-hoaxable features) then we'll be talking.

This story is incredibly bad for Cryptozoology as a serious field.

If her grandfather had a nearly 30 year relationship with the creature, including the ability to communicate with him, why was it necessary to "protect" seven year old Jan from Fox?

If factual...

Isn't the Carter/Coy Farm situation the perfect scenario for verification, validation, observation and protection?

seeing is believing...
